Welcome J. Cecelia Shaulis
MacGill PC welcomes J. Cecelia Shaulis, a 2022 summer law clerk* with the Firm.
Cecelia received her juris doctor, summa cum laude, from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. During law school, she was Senior Executive Editor of the Indiana Law Review and Assistant Chief Justice of the Staton Competition with the Moot Court Society. Cecelia published an Indiana Law Review Note advocating for Indiana to implement a statutory scheme to combat government workplace sexual assault and the wandering officer phenomenon.
Cecelia gained legal experience by externing with Indiana Supreme Court Justice Christopher Goff, working as a research assistant for the Director of the Center for Intellectual Property Law and Innovation, working as a paralegal for a local business, and participating in various legal clinics. Cecelia received the Nancy N. and Henry B. Blackwell II Scholarship for academic achievement.
Cecelia received her B.A. in economics and political science from Indiana University-Bloomington. In the community, Cecelia volunteers with Indianapolis Animal Care Services as an animal foster.
